Dawn Of A New Man

lay in opened earth
rise to morning light
let it burn the hearth
warm you through the night
nowhere is there mirth
but laugh at it in spite
maybe you'll give birth
and give a new one sight

Well, I find out that "hearth" is really pronounced with a centralized "a" and sounds like "harth" instead of "herth" which is what I was going with for the rhyme.
So now there is a big blob in the middle of this one that I can't figure out what to do with because I really liked the imagery.
