I Can't See It Anymore

Terror that had not been fully found
pushed me down so hard upon the ground,
ripping out the threads that bind my soul;
cast aside, I never can be whole.
Tastless, dry, and swollen is my tongue.
My joints and muscles ache although I'm numb.
Torn to shreds, yet no tear left to cry,
because I've lost the apple in my eye.
